UPDATE: Signups are now closed!

Wow, thank you for the incredible support, r/TeslaLounge! We have officially reached our target number of beta testers. I have sent DMs to everyone who commented so far. If you missed out, I’ll be keeping an eye on the comments here for a potential second round of testing if needed.

If you've already filled out the signup form, please check your email for the install instructions. Stay tuned for the public release!

Hey r/TeslaLounge,

I've been working on an Android app called Sentry Editor that lets you view, edit, and export your Tesla Sentry/Dashcam footage directly from your USB drive to your phone. No PC needed.

What it does:

  • Multi-camera playback (HW3 + HW4 supported)

  • Live telemetry overlay: speed, gear, steering angle, autopilot state, blinkers

  • GPS map with full route path

  • Export clips with telemetry baked in (10 different layouts)

  • NAS backup (SFTP and SMB)

I'm looking for about 30-40 beta testers to help me get through Google's strict 14-day closed testing requirement. Just 1-2 minutes of tapping around every day or two is all I need.

No Tesla USB handy? No worries! I have sample footage you can use, but testing with your own Sentry/Saved events works best!

Drop a comment or DM me and I'll send you the signup link! Once I hit the target number of testers, I'll add everyone to the allowlist in one batch and send out the welcome emails with the install instructions.
